Make it a button down denim shirt dress. Why would I promote a dress that isn't even in my capsule wardrobe, you ask? I forgot to bring it to the photoshoot.

I purchased this indigo GAP denim button down shirt dress this winter and have been floored by her versatility. A MINIMALista works a highly curated wardrobe and as such it is necessary that each of her garments work overtime. When considering a new purchase I ask myself several questions. And then I answer them in my head as if I were talking to a single party girl, apparently.
- Does it complement my palette? Dude. Denim matches everything.
- Does it layer? Like a boss! Wear it alone, under a sweater, open over a dress or BAM! Open over your bikini at Coachella. Marquee Day Club? SLS South Beach! Wow. Really? I'll be at the Holmes Run community pool.
- Can it transition through seasons? Absolutely, but grab a lighter wash for Spring/Summer.
- Can I accessorize it up or down? Girlllll. Think wedges for work, bold sneakers for weekend or cage heels for date night. Add a colorful scarf and switch up your bag accordingly. Cool girl cred sorted.
